Team Coaching: I have been coaching software development teams for almost 30 years. I know the pressures teams are under and how well they respond to simple, lightweight processes that help them succeed. I will get on the ground, understand your team’s processes and personalities, and work with you to structure an organization that delivers.

By building great teams, tools, and processes, I have delivered hundreds of software products (web, mobile, intranet), on-time, and on-budget. These projects have earned millions (and, in some cases, billions) for companies like Disney, Verizon, Mirage Resorts, Honda, Toyota, General Motors, Logitech, Intuit, Citrix, and many more.

Delivery doesn’t just happen, of course. Quality delivery results from disciplined execution: understanding how to link together the right people and the right strategy with the right processes and tools.

  • One-Day Scrum Training: This class includes compelling exercises to practice specific techniques for short, effective meetings and development sprints that get your teams to innovate and deliver faster. At the end of this class, you will be ready to take on new experiments in small team innovation, to leverage chaos to create more ideas for your customers, and to grow leaders in the face of change.
  • Coaching and Project Leadership:  I will coach your teams to focus on your customer’s needs and work with the team daily to innovate and deliver. I will facilitate meetings, grooming and planning sessions, and demos. Over time, I will rotate those responsibilities so your people will take on all responsibilities with a sense of support and accomplishment.

I will work with you to create a path for your leaders to leverage the chaos and turn it into innovation. With small teams working in time-boxed sprints, constantly testing new products–under a single vision–digital marketing departments can excel and thrive.
